Project overview
Developed a WordPress speaker website for Andrew Lewis in collaboration with Matt and Shannon. The implementation combined Avada layouts with ACF Pro and custom PHP for structured, reusable content.
The challenge
Allow the team to maintain recurring content without rebuilding layouts or relying on the page builder for every update. Resources also needed a dedicated publishing structure.
Reusable content sections
Configured ACF field groups and repeaters connected to Avada layouts. Developed custom PHP rendering and styling for field-driven sections and cards.
Resources publishing system
Built a Resources area with a custom post type, category taxonomy, ACF metadata and archive/single templates. This gave resources a consistent content structure and presentation.
Client editing access
Configured a restricted client_editor role for a focused content-editing experience and limited administrative access.
